Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony of the 2026 FISU World University Championship in Futsal will take place on 30 June 2026 at OSiR Włochy Sports Hall in Warsaw, one day prior to the start of the competition. The ceremony will be conducted in accordance with the FISU Protocol and will bring together all participating delegations, officials and guests.
The programme will include:
- Parade of Nations
- Official Flag Ceremony
- Performance of the Polish National Anthem
- Performance of the FISU Anthem Gaudeamus Igitur
- Official speeches
- Athletes’ and Referees’ Oaths
- Official Opening Declaration
- Academic Choir performance
- Cheerleadering performance
- Welcome Session with DJ
The ceremony is expected to last approximately 45-60 minutes, followed by an informal integration session for all participants.

Important informations:
Participation in the Opening Ceremony is mandatory for all delegations.
Delegations will enter in alphabetical order (English language). The gost nation, Poland, will enter last.
Athletes are requested to wear their official national team uniforms or delegation attire during the Parade of Nations.
Accreditation badges are required to enter the ceremony venue.
Medal & Closing Ceremonies
The medal and closing ceremony will be organized on July 7 th 2026 at the most spacious Championship’s Sports Hall (Znicz Pruszkow), immediately after the final match.
It will be organized in full cooperation with FISU Representatives and include the ceremony of passing the FISU flag to the host of the next WUC Organizer.
